By accessing or using D8ly Read ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
D8ly Read provides Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart calculations, AI-powered daily fortune readings, Western horoscope readings, yearly outlooks, lucky color and number recommendations, moon blocks divination (擲筊), and a contact form. The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.
3. Entertainment Disclaimer
All readings, fortunes, and interpretations provided by D8ly Read are for entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to financial, medical, legal, psychological, or relationship advice. We make no claims about the accuracy, reliability, or predictive power of any content generated by the Service. You acknowledge that any decisions you make based on content from D8ly Read are entirely your own responsibility. We are not liable for any actions taken, opportunities missed, or consequences arising from your use of the Service.
4. User Accounts
You may use certain features without an account. To access personalized features, you may create an account via Google OAuth or email registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts • Abuse the API or rate limits through automated requests • Interfere with or disrupt the Service • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without permission • Use the Service to harass, harm, or deceive others
6. Intellectual Property
The D8ly Read name, logo, website design, and original content are our property. Bazi calculation methods are based on traditional Chinese metaphysics and are in the public domain. AI-generated fortune narratives are produced by third-party AI services and are provided to you for personal use. You may share your personal readings on social media. You may not systematically reproduce or redistribute generated content for commercial purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (Google, Supabase, Vercel, OpenStreetMap, Resend). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep D8ly Read available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, D8ly Read and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, given this is a free service, is zero).
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
